Francis Summers who runs the photography MA course at UCA Rochester will make an introduction and chair an open discussion around the exhibition.

14:00 - 15:30. Chris Coekin. Collaborative Practice.

Chris Coekin (UCA Rochester Photography) will discuss the working methodology and conceptual underpinning that defines his practice. This will include his experiences of book publishing, inclusion of text and ephemera, collaborative processes and the use of sound.

"With the body of work 'MANN' I'm exploring what it is to be a man."

A presentation by Bjorn Veno (UCA Photography Rochester). Exploring one's identity and gender roles is something that a lot of women have done extensively. Women such as Claude Cahun, Cindy Sherman and Tracy Emin. In our time the man has barely been explored and this is something I and my self portraits wish to help change.
