Kim Scutt-Bromley is a creative practitioner mixing personal still and moving images with intimately 'found' objects. Her work explores the psychoanalytical healing potential of images. She is fascinated by the unique photographic syntax and the capacity of photographs to short-circuit many of our mental filters. She investigates the notions of the fractured self, mirrored to the individual through the micro-power flows within families and personal relationships.

In her most recent work Attachment II, she has created an installation with projected moving images onto her wedding dress. Within the dress personal images are hung mirroring the power-dynamics of the family.
